    Hi Karen

Exciting times though! So once you get home on the Tuesday, I would just do no agility for a few days and let you say daily walks give her a chance to rest and recover after the busy weekend. You can also do some stretching and recovery exercises – for example, our therapist would advise heat packing to warm some of the muscles up, light massage and stretch stretching.

I would probably do a small skill session, or small course sequencing on the Friday just to keep her brain active and also not to let her completely stiffen up from the three day of competition before the next competition on the Sunday. I think it will be good for both of you, especially if you are earlier on in your career rather than a super experienced dog.

    Many thanks

    Martin
