    Hello

    Yes The sniffing and lack of focus at the start line is just a displacement behaviour for me I would try and make it easier to succeed with the wait to gain confidence and also add value to this position.
    I would use something like a raised bed to make it easier for him to succeed – with more confidence and more value added to the start line

    You need to use a bed or something similar rather than the blocks I am using here in this video below however it gives you the idea of what I’m trying to get across (making it easier to stay in one position so you can be more successful)
