    Hey!

I remember from the session we had at DSD a few weeks back!

Sometimes when the jumps go up in height it can help, sometimes it can make it slightly worse, hopefully its the first and I’m hopefully it could be which is why I didn’t mention anything while at training a few weeks ago as I hope/expect when the jumping requires a little bit more attention (actually having to jump) this could help.

In the meantime, I would work through some of these exercises linked below –

as well as that, I actually think it will be good to teach some skills even just on one jump which are more collection based exercises to give confidence getting deeper to the jumps. For example, working on threadle wraps/slices and backside wraps/slices – so you’re teaching some more jumping skills in different ways to give both body and brain some new experiences.

    Gridwork – Fan Grid

this one will be a super one

Gridwork – One Jump Collection Grid

This one I think will be a struggle so even just start with one jump with the pole set away from the wings

Gridwork – Pole Awareness grid 1

    part 2 of the above

Gridwork – Pole Awareness grid 2

    Hopefully that helps!

    Martin
