Hi Martin 🙂 just an update on our RCs, this is where we are now.

Plank work has been going really well. She seems to understand the bottom of the plank has value, and will often hit with both back feet right at the end of the plank. I have been pushing to try and get split back feet as she hits with them together in a bunny hop fashion quite a lot – they generally don’t seem too bouncy as she still hits pretty low.

This session was the first time Nixie has seen the mat on the dogwalk. Usually we start with a bit of matwork on the floor and move on to the plank so she has been seeing the mat regularly. This session started with our usual floor matwork and then went on to this.

We had more misses in this session than I am used to – I have become accustomed to Nixie making this pretty easy for me so far! I think she was probably thinking its weird the mat is here now. We had 75% sucesss rate with lots more rewards than jackpots. I have only been using 1 plank but my dog walk is now partly set up in the corner, so may try starting on the middle plank next time. Any feedback would be great 🙂

    Thank you!
