Thanks for the video. He looks like a super athletic willing to please boy!
He’s working through what you’re asking him very nicely, I can definitely see though just in his demeanour soon as he starts running more his arousal level will go much higher because he has high drive!
There is a couple of things I would do, first of all mix up between starting from a restrain (as this makes it easier) and sending round a cone (this makes it a little bit harder as they are already then in motion and have less thinking time)
The other thing I would do is to practice these levels of skills but in a smaller sequence of 3 to 4 obstacles rather than one or two and then reward, very similar to the above point the dogs are thinking about more than one thing and are in motion so it makes it more difficult.
Once you have worked through the above and he can think while doing some very small sequences, you can purposely actually add in some excitement and arousal (as this is very likely to always happen when running longer sequences or in competition anyway) so he has to learn to work through it, cope and use his brain!
