        Hello all,

I wanted to introduce myself and my pack of dogs.

My name is Karen and we live in The Netherlands.
I am doing agility for many years now and I am pretty ambitious but I have the habit of falling in love on the more challenging type of dogs..

So 3 years ago I adopted Skye, an Deaf Border Collie. She is a sweetheart, but has a bad start in live and comes with quite the list of troubles, and obvious the challenge of being deaf. So I am an body language only handler with her. She is now 4 years old and doing great.

When I was looking for a new dog in our family I found Ciske. She is a sweety, bouncy, lovely, open and very social girl. Ciske is a former streetdog. Born on the streets of Russian Siberia and rescued by an organization who got her into foster care in The Netherlands.  Where I found her. She was about 7 months old by then and had never trained or played with an human. She is very clever and loves food. But play is still a work in progress.
She is a great canicross dog, she loves to drag me around. If we go cani-crossing, then she is an high drive crazy little thing going as fast as she can. She is very strong.

Although I was hoping for some kind of shepherd mix, she turns out to be an Siberian Laika / Cocker Spaniel mix.  So she is pretty independent, loves to hunt, but no tugger at this point.

I joined here because of Ciske. She lacks drive, she has no will to please, and I think she is not giving me her all.
I sometimes wonder if she likes this game…

        Best wishes,

        Karen
